According to God’s original plan

When I was a fresh graduate, I actually told myself that I didn’t want to work in a bank [no offense meant to those who do so…]. I just imagined it to be in a stand-alone bank [as opposed to located inside a mall], and then you’ll just file deposit slips, payments, and stuff like that. It was boring for me… [again, no offense meant to those who do this for a living…]

Come July 2004, I came across 2 offers, one of a multinational bank, and the other, from a manufacturing company of a well-known noodle brand. At that time, I wanted to be in a consumer goods company, particularly that relating to food, as it would be something everyone would know of (like, who doesn’t eat, right?!)

So I took the offer from the  manufacturing company…

After one year, I worked in a call center…

After 5 months, I worked for my first retail company, which I enjoyed working for [and even considered going back to…]

After more than 3 years, I worked for my second retail company, which made me hate retail altogether…

After one year, I resigned, and became a bum for about 4 months, before discovering that I could actually work by writing… All the while, thinking that I wanted to be a part of financial institutions…

Then, there was the IT company I’ve worked for for 2 months…

And now, I’m back to where my first passion was… food…

Come February 11, I’ll be taking yet another journey… Another company, which I hope I would really retire from [well, they’ve got a retirement plan that I could avail if I get regularized…]

pa pa rap pa pa… Love ko ‘to!

God just had to give me all these things at the right time… Best blessing for 2011, so far… Thank you, Lord! Alleluia! Amen!
